What to find on Board Hodor comes with its own advanced dive centre, which is fully equipped with compressors, NITROX and O2 facilities and a decompression chamber in the yacht’s hospital. Tijdens de Portugese maritieme ontdekkingen onder leiding van koning D.Henrique was Diogo de Silves in het jaar 1427 de eerste zeevaarder die deze archipel van negen eilanden bereikte. De oorsprong van de naam Azoren wordt in verband gebracht met een vogelsoort, de noordelijke havik ook wel bekend als (de açor) die op de eilanden voorkomt. Dit erfgoed is bewaard gebleven en omvat unieke ocean biodiversiteit, flora en fauna, vulkanische grotten en geolandschappen, natuurparken en botanische tuinen, elk met eigen verbazingwekkende wandelpaden met natuurlijke hulpbronnen die exclusief zijn voor elk eiland.
